THIS CONTEST HAS ENDED. YOU CAN SEE WHO WON HERE
We’re giving away some more cool things that you can win. This time around you have a chance to win some cool stuff from COHEED AND CAMBRIA. Their new album, No World For Tomorrow just came out a few weeks ago. By now everyone should know the story of the two main characters the band’s records surround, Coheed and Cambria, and their fight to save humanity.

This got us thinking if there were any other great duos out existed and we think there are many. So we figured we’d make your entry into the C&C contest just that.

TO ENTER: Post in our comments section what your favorite duo of all time is. Could it be Abbott & Costello? Bert & Ernie? Peanut Butter & Jelly? We don’t know, tell us who your favorite couple is.

There will be three winners.
1 GRAND PRIZE WINNER: The grand prize winner will get a cd of Coheed And Cambria’s latest album No World For Tomorrow, as well the entire album on vinyl. In addition to that they will win a 7-inch single of the first single off the album, “The Running Free”.

2 RUNNER UP WINNERS: There will be two second place winners who will each get a cd copy of the album No World For Tomorrow.

Coheed & Cambria Contest

Go crazy. The contest ends on Friday November 23rd. We will then select the winner from the entries at random. Be sure to include your email address when you post a comment so we can notify you.

I will have to go with penut butter and jelly. As a college student i dont have the liberties of spending my money as i please. I have to carefully select what things i have the liberty of getting. And that is where my pb&j comes into place. a short trip to wallmart and a purchase of under $3 can give me a numerous amount of meals. It is quick and easy which is what makes it so very appealing to the college life.

  2. Matt D says:

Beavis and Butthead, the show still sums up all things about my childhood. It brings back memories of days when MTV was still tolerable and had something to do with music, and they usually had some sweet metal videos.

  3. Fatguy says:

I am voting for Ramen Noodles and Weed.

When everything else in the world sucks…they are always there for you.

  4. Graber says:

Isn’t it obvious? The greatest duo of all time is Mr. Pib and Red Vines. You know what they say about that duo…

A close second though would be Yogi and Boo-Boo Bear.

  5. UnclePhilthy says:

That’s an easy one, the best duo of all time is Freaks and Geeks.

  6. Laura says:

    Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper

  7. Scarrott says:

Good & evil. Also, love & hate when tattooed on knuckles.

  8. bram says:

whiskey and weed – hell yeah!

  9. Jesse KWVA says:

I’d have to go with Sifl & Olly. I dig those puppets so much! I love their videos and all the music that they sing. I remember just going into high school and watching this show (mainly cuz it was fun to watch while smoking pot, though I don’t do that now) and laughing my ass off at all the random things this show talked about. This is waaaaaaay before Wonder Showzen was on MTV but I’m sure had some influence on that.

Sifl & Olly, all the way.

  10. jeremy says:

rock and roll. for sure. where would we be without that combination?

also, a nod to freaks and geeks. definitely cool.

  11. dale schmucker says:

homer and bart simpson. the simpsons rock

  12. Sam Grimes says:

    George A. Romero and Zombies.

How can you argue with night/dawn/day Of the (living) dead.

    you can’t.

  13. I’d have to say icing and box cakemix. You could have the traditional cupcake or birthday cake. ORR you could make a sandwhich, an icing topped muffin, or the perfect sticky, messy concoction to put into a slingshot and shoot at people.

  14. David Dyer says:

    Sex and Music.

Where would we be without Sex? No reproduction, no babies, hope for a future…NO WORLD FOR TOMORROW.

Where would we be without music? Angry, and few productive ways to vent! Depressed with no way to cheer! Happy, with no symbiotic outlet to express your emotion!

    What makes sex better? Rhythm…MUSIC!

What makes Music better? The Dance From The Pants…SEX!

Try to deny that the world would be the same without this pair. I will call you a liar.

  15. Matt and Syndicate?

    nah thats brown nosing

Simon and Garfunkel is a good duo

    wait a minute
    i got it

    HOT DOG AND A BUN
especially on those old time movie commercials where the bun and hot dog jump into each other. good times. So i’ll stick with hot dog and bun. Honestly, who can go without tons of random meet in bread?

  16. Matt says:

Yes Brandon, that is brown nosing – though flattering.

  17. J. Astra says:

I would have to say that unicorns and rainbows are my favorite duo of all time. Both of these provide undeniable joy to people of all ages, and one of them has a mythical horn. Also, if you’re fast enough, the other can give you a magical leprechaun AND a whole whackton of money.

  18. Davethemetalguy aka Dave Standifer says:

    John Holmes and Seka

  19. Matt says:

There are some great entries in here. We will be announcing the winners tomorrow!

It’s a shame half of them didn’t include their contact info so we have no way of getting in touch with them. Please everyone entering INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS so we can contact you!

  20. Sherre Schwartz says:
