MP3: Jimmy Eat World | “A Sunday” Live

A while back Jimmy Eat World announced they will release a live album recapping their amazingly awesome Clarity X10 tour.
Now there are complete details on the release. It’s out next week on April 7th, exactly one month after the band’s final performance on the tour at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, AZ. The same show the live recording was culled from.
The digital-only release will be available exclusively on the band’s website. Fans will have the choice in 5 different dowload options (MP3, FLAC, Apple Lossless, 44.1/16bit WAV, 48k/24bit WAV). Price has not been released yet but we’re thinking it will be a sliding scale depending on the file types you choose.
The album will also include the two encore tracks, a digital booklet with photos from the tour, and two high-res photos of the band. The band is also going to do an encore performance of the record on album release day. At 6pm(PST) on the 7th the band will simulcast a live performance.

wonderful news! would have liked to had ‘big casino’ in there too…extra cheesy and all.
No “Big Casino” because the tour was just to play the “Clarity” album from front to back. It was to celebrate the anniversary of the release.
It’s easy to forget about a band like Jimmy Eat World… just noticed the new release (self-released, nonetheless) coming out next week, and every time I read or hear about them I can’t help but thinking they fell between the cracks somewhere along the way when they should’ve been a lot bigger (for longer than they were, at least)… that being said, they consistently sell-out shows when they tour through Minneapolis (where I live)… guess they’re doing fine, after all.
Thanks for sharing the song, haven’t heard anything by them in a while (clearly).
They are self-releasing just this live digital album. They are still on the same label they’ve been on for a while now.
That makes a bit more sense… saw it was a self-release and thought that it sounded a bit ambitious
