New Strung Out MP3s, “Vanity” And “Black Crosses”
It’s crazy to believe some punk bands that we grew up listening to are turning 20 years old. Punk in and of itself seems to be littered with bands that come onto the scene, make their fast marks then die out in just a few years, an allure that probably makes the culture that much more enticing.
Not the case are the California punk stalwarts, Strung Out who are about to release their 7th studio album this week. It’s a feat not often reached by many. To still be a thriving entity lasting long enough to see a generation of bands you’ve influenced (see Rise Against, Blink-182, and AFI to name a few) hit their own marks.
Their new album, Agents Of The Underground hit stores this week, and since we’re so dorky cool we have two tracks off the new record. Time to take a listen.
